Pre-Trip Checklist, Be Prepared

Once you have your charter date booked here's how to best prepare for your trip:

What to Bring

We do our best to provide just about everything that you need for a great day out on the Bay, but there are still a few things that you should be sure to bring with you. 

  • Mask - Per United States Coast Guard & CDC all passengers must wear a mask while on a commercial vessel. USCG Mask Mandate

  • Food, Snacks & Drinks in break-proof containers (No Glass, please)

  • Seasonal clothing, be prepared for cooler temps on the water. 

  • Sunglasses, Hat & Sunscreen.

  • A camera to capture your day on the bay.

  • Non-marking, comfortable shoes.

  • A cooler to transport your catch, leave this in your vehicle until you return from your trip.

  • Cash - Credit Cards are not accepted at the boat for remaining balance or tips.

  • The Mate works exclusively for tips, and he works hard to ensure you have a safe and enjoyable day.  20% is customary.  Prices do not include a tip for the mate. 


Here are some answers to common questions

  • Do I need a Fishing License?

    • No, Everyone onboard is covered under the charter license.

  • Should I bring Bait or Tackle?

    • No, we provide everything to catch fish.

  • What about Bad Weather?

    • The Captain determines if conditions are safe to depart.  He will contact you if bad weather is predicted. Weather cancellations can be rescheduled or they are refundable.

  • What if I need to cancel or reschedule my trip?

    • A minimum of 30 days notice is required for a refund for a cancelled trip. Note - No Shows automatically forfeit deposits.

  • How long is our trip?

    • Fishing charters are 6 hours.  Morning charters  depart at 6am and return around 12pm. Afternoon trips are available departing at 1pm, call for availability and pricing.

What NOT to Bring

  • No Illegal Drugs - The USCG has a zero tolerance policy and so do we!

  • No Firearms

  • No Glass bottles or containers

  • No Hard Liquor

  • Extra people - The Teaser is licensed to carry a maximum of 6 passengers

  • No Bananas!


Bananas are Bad MOJO on Boats

Any experienced, self-respecting fisherman will tell you that Bananas are bad mojo on a fishing boat.  So, Please, do NOT bring bananas with you.  If you do, be prepared for us to immediately throw them overboard.

Alcohol Policy

Safety is our #1 concern aboard the Teaser.


Alcohol consumption in moderation is allowed for passengers 21 years of age and older.

  • Beer in Cans are permitted

  • No glass bottles or containers

  • No Hard Liquor 


If the Captain determines that a passenger exhibits signs of excessive intoxication, creating a safety concern for themselves or any other member of the crew, the trip will be terminated and immediately return to the dock.


No refunds are given for trips
terminated under this policy!
